Edgygifts follows on the heels of www.pureproductsusa.com, our first online retail store.
We started pureproductsusa.com as the way to fulfill the growing need for affordable artworks that addressed political themes.
It was clear people wanted more than bumper stickers, more than campaign buttons, and definitely more than funny rolls of toilet paper to express themselves.
And so pureproductsusa.com was born with original, clever multiple editions. (We practically invented politically themed underwear & the truth is, after our John Ashcroft snow globe, snow globes have never been the same since.)
Edgygifts is our latest webstore. It's a new kind of idea – artists bringing affordable artworks directly to the public.
& like the razor blade icon, it straddles both sides of an ongoing debate: Can an art object be affordably priced, marketed as a gift, and still be considered art? We think it can and much more.
